The intricate decorations resemble stars in the sky, exuding a charm that minimalism fails to convey. Even as an atheist, my hands and body tremble with excitement, deeply awed by this sight. Faith and spirituality expand the boundaries of creation, reaching the pinnacle of imagination. This is how I felt when I first saw the Milan Cathedral—a collision of cultures. Therefore, I decided to encapsulate this feeling in my work.
The body of the floor lamp is made of stainless steel and smaller textured glass. This subtle mechanism can distort the direction of light, enhancing the sense of light’s extension. The light is trapped within the glass, and when observed from different heights and angles, it distributes and interacts inside, resembling a curtain of stars, a comet’s tail, or even a tiny universe within a spire, teeming with imagination.
