The Multi-Lite Pendant embraces the golden era of Danish design with its iconic shape featuring two opposing, movable outer shades that allow for personalized installations and offer a variety of lighting effects in a room. By individually rotating the shades, the Multi-Lite Pendant can be transformed into multiple combinations, directing light upwards, downwards, or emitting an asymmetrical artistic glow. The Multi-Lite was first sketched in 1972 when Louis Weisdorf broke away from his usual design practice of using repetitive elements, instead reflecting his passion for diversity. Two cylindrical shapes form the foundation of the lamp, while a metal ring encircles and anchors the two quarter-spherical shades, completing this iconic design with versatile functionality.
