The Multi-Lite lamp design was created in 1972 by Danish architect Louis Weisdorf to reflect his passion for diversity. Due to its unique design, the two opposing outer lampshades can be individually rotated and transformed into a variety of combinations, encouraging personalized installation and expression at any time. Always keeping Weisdorf’s design philosophy in mind, the light can be directed upwards, downwards or diffused asymmetrically, artistically, without exposing the light source. Two cylindrical shapes lay the foundation of the lamp, while a metal ring surrounds it and secures the two quarter-spherical lampshades, ultimately completing the picture of an iconic design with multiple uses.
